About the Role

As a BI Analyst Intern at ORCA, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Senior Data Analysts and Software Developers. We are looking for candidates to start from May 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting Senior Data Analysts and Software Developers in data analytics using SQL and BI tools.
• Creating interactive reports and dashboards to provide valuable data insights to our customers.
• Providing data advisory and consulting services to clients and developers.
• Developing customised analysis tools to enhance our data capabilities.
• Collaborating with clients and team members to implement innovative solutions.
• Collecting and analysing data to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
• Creating and maintaining data reports and dashboards to track business performance.
• Conducting research to inform data analysis strategies and methodologies.
• Collaborating with team members to develop effective data analysis approaches.
• Providing support to team members on data analysis-related tasks.
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to project planning and execution.

Desired Technical Skills:

• Familiarity with Data Analysis.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Familiarity with BI tools (PowerBI - preferred, Tableau, Looker).
• Comfortable with version control software such as Git.
• Optional knowledge of Python.
• Optional experience with .Net web development (C#, HTML, CSS, JS).
• Optional experience with Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
