We're expanding our team and are currently seeking a dedicated Software Tester to join us in our Manila, Philippines office.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team during a period of growth. As a Software Tester at OST, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You'll collaborate closely with our product development team to review requirements, design test scenarios, execute tests, analyze results, and prepare comprehensive reports. Additionally, you'll be responsible for support activities, such as categorizing, prioritizing, and resolving tickets, as well as interacting with clients to understand their requirements. Your input during design reviews will be valuable in identifying potential problems and ensuring product quality.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing software requirements and preparing test scenarios.
• Executing tests on software usability, including manual and scripted tests.
• Analyzing test results for database impacts, errors, or bugs, and assessing usability.
• Preparing detailed reports on all aspects of software testing and communicating findings to the product development team.
• Categorizing, prioritizing, and resolving support tickets.
• Interacting with clients to gather product requirements.
• Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential issues.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies.
• Working knowledge of test techniques and compatibility with various software programs. (Experience with Dotnet C# testing frameworks preferred)
• Proficiency in programming.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
